How celebs joined I am a Chosen trend

The I am a Chosen trend which went viral on social media during the week after video clips of some testimonies shared by some members of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in Lagos surfaced on social media, has continued to generate mixed reactions.

In one of the videos, a member claimed that an angelic-looking man appeared to her in the examination hall and gave her answers to some questions. Another member claimed that a lion miraculously saved him from kidnappers. A female member also stated that she fought off some armed men in her dream.

Reacting to the trend, popular businessman, Emeka Okonkwo, better known as E-money, shared a video of himself wearing the church’s apron as he went about his daily activities. He added the caption, “I am a chosen mopol, who are you?”

Similarly, actress, Tonto Dikeh, also jumped on the trend. She shared an edited picture of her rocking the church’s popular apron.
Actor and nightlife enthusiast, Adeyemi Idowu, better known as Yhemo Lee, and his wife, Thayour, also ‘jumped’ on the trend. The couple, who got married a few weeks ago, sported the yellow aprons looking like the church’s members.

Controversial cross dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, also shared a video, captioning it, “I am a Chosen!”

Victor Olatunji, a footballer, who plays for Sparta Prague, while celebrating a goal he scored during the ongoing UEFA Champions League, revealed a shirt under his jersey with the inscription, “I am a Chosen, who are you?”
This was even as controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, Portable, announced his forthcoming Extended Play album titled, The Chosen. In the album cover art he shared online, he wore the church’s apron.
